ANGELINA.NGO

In 2013, Angelina founded Zauber Music & Arts, a music and arts studio where she and a select staff gives private and group lessons in visual arts, contemporary dance, and music, including music theory, music history, piano, violin and flute, as well as coaching young chamber ensembles. A year later (2014), she embarked on a remarkable journey to build her own Hauptwerk Pipe Organ to help with the pursuit of her continuing education and study of the Pipe Organ.
 

Angelina's adventures with building the Hauptwerk Pipe Organ led her to seek out more experience in organ building at the American Organ Institute at Oklahoma University. As her interest grew, (and thanks to social media plus some fortuitous circumstantial networking), Angelina got into contact with Emery Brothers during the summer of 2015; thus began her journey with organ building in a more professional manner. Under their wing, Angelina was given the opportunity to visit and assist in the service and restoration work for a multitude of gorgeous organs along the East Coast, both large and small; among them the 1991 Mander (IV/137) at Princeton University Chapel, Princeton, NJ, the Möller (IV/65) at River Road Baptist, Richmond, VA, and the many organs within Westminster Choir College.
 

In her spare time, she likes to create her own arrangements as well as writing her own music for the organ. A believer of doing her part to help bring social justice to her community, Angelina is a founding member and currently on the Board of Directors for Restore Hope NYC, Inc., a non profit founded in 2015 to assist homeless women in identifying and overcoming obstacles to independent living.
 

Angelina feels very humbled and blessed to have been given so much. She enjoys going out with friends, seeing shows and concerts, and going ice skating & biking at Central Park. Additionally, she discovered an unquenchable desire to travel, explore and experience cities and countries outside the Big Apple (NYC) where she grew up. Above all else, she is thankful for everyone who has helped her to become who she is today. She is ready and is always on the look-out for new challenges and experiences to help her continue her journey and achieve her dreams.
